Absolutely loved this rental, spectacular sea view and fantastic place to stay. Great restaurants nearby. This place has everything you need, is spotlessly clean, and the hosts were wonderful and helpful. Highly recommend!

The location was quiet And the view was amazing! The grounds were kept well and secure, you need a key to get in and out of the property. The bed was so comfortable and the place was clean and well kept. There was a breakdown in communication about how to check out and where to leave the key. Otherwise, everything was AMAZING! Highly recommend and we will be back!

We stayed at the Sotavento on the south end of isla Mujeres. Although everything vacation rentals are the property management company the owners of the Airbnb sent an email day after we checked in to be sure everything was ok. This place exceeded our expectations. We had a bottom unit that walked right into the infinity pool. It was amazing. We had one small issue and we texted our contact at everything vacations and they had it fixed right away. The Airbnb was comfortable, bed was comfortable, shower had lots of pressure. We were welcomed with beer in the fridge and chips and salsa. When we were looking for a place there were few reviews for this particular property so we were a little nervous but when we arrived we were blown away. We will definitely stay again.

We loved our stay in A12! The view of Caribbean every day does not get old. We enjoyed the quietness of the south end of the island at night and listening to the Joint's band during the day while we floated in the pool. The unit was spotless and fully equipped for our needs for the week. The water jug with dispenser, chips and salsa and beers in the fridge were an extra bonus we weren't expecting. I want to mention that they have added a washing machine, floaties and reusable grocery bags. Thank you for having us!

We have stayed at Sotavento 10 times over the last 8 years. We will never stay anywhere else on the island. It is perfect for everything we enjoy doing while there. You can't go wrong!

This was our third stay at Sotavento but our first time in a ground floor unit. While the views from the upper floor units are beautiful, they are equally grand from the first floor. But, what’s even better, is the convenience of being able to walk in and out of the condo right to the awesome infinity pool. Unit A12 was clean and just as pictured in the listing. The property manager, concierge, and others we spoke with were all great. It was super easy getting into the condo, Alex met us right at the front gate when we arrived. I think we are Sotavento first floor junkies now and will be trying to get A12 whenever we come back!

The highlight is undoubtedly the patio, just steps away from a fabulous pool, where you can soak up breathtaking views of the Caribbean Ocean and witness spectacular sunsets.
Inside, the condo is very well cared for and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The well-appointed kitchen, featuring a full-size refrigerator, microwave, smooth electric cooktop, and a large air fryer, makes it easy to prepare your own meals. Reliable Wi-Fi, very cold air conditioning, and ceiling fans ensure your comfort throughout the day and night. The water pressure was perfect! The shower got nice and hot immediately. The decor is beachy-modern and makes you feel like you are staying in a room at a five star resort.
The location is a major plus. While providing a peaceful environment, it's also within walking distance of the famous "The Joint" bar and other popular local attractions. One of the best places we visited was Garrafon de Castilla beach club which was, quite literally, steps from the condo. We enjoyed snorkeling, swimming, and fabulous food. This allows you to easily explore the island's vibrant culture and enjoy its lively atmosphere.
Overall, this condo rental offers an exceptional vacation experience. The combination of a comfortable and well-equipped living space, stunning views, and a prime location makes it a perfect choice for anyone seeking a memorable getaway in Isla Mujeres. We cannot wait to stay at Sotavento A12 again!

This is a nice spot on the south end of the island. There is a great lookout for sunset down the street. Very close to Punta Sur.
