We have found our new place to stay when we visit Isla! Great location!

LaPoza is an amazing property. It is very clean, quiet and welcoming. Estaban greets you with a smile everyday. The rooftop pool is wonderful and super clean.

I stayed at La Poza #401 in early May 2025. I was traveling solo and like to be downtown but not on Hidalgo. This condo was perfect for me!  I felt safe and loved the location and the staff was great. There is a small clothing boutique and a charming coffee shop on the first floor.
Bonus: Sometimes my husband travels with me and he is an amputee but La Poza has an elevator which is unusual for smaller places in Mexico. So I'm sure he would love it too!

The condo was nicely appointed with all basic necessities, good towels, cutlery, glasses and dishes, ice cube tray, and 5 gallon water dispenser that lasted me throughout the week.
I truly loved everything about Unit 401 except the mattress! 
They really, really need to upgrade the mattress.
The couch is also somewhat uncomfortable but I didn't spend much time on the couch.
So, all in all another perfect week on Isla and an (almost) 5 star, excellent stay at La Poza.
It is a great condo and the rooftop pool puts it well above other similarly priced places that I've stayed at on Isla but that mattress needs replaced!

All in all the place is amazing! The pool amazing! Location amazing! Estabhan amazing! The downside, the king bed is very firm our bodies hurt the whole week! The couch is tiny and stained and not really usable for any period of time. The bumping music from competing bars down the road till all hours of the night. The school is very loud from kids in the am…if you like a firm mattress and don’t mind the bumping music every night this place for you. Amazing restaurants and the beach is a 5 min walk and the 360 ocean view from the pool…

La Poza is awesome! The location is AMAZING, Esteban at the front desk is the absolute BEST! He was friendly, helpful, and always there with a smile.
Lulu, Esteban’s wife made us pico and guac and we paid her to do it and it was so yummy!
The condo itself really lacks in kitchen items. You only have bare bones to use if you actually want to cook. No shampoo or conditioner. A small bar of soap. Only one hand towel and wash cloth. One dish towel in the kitchen.

Would definitely stay here again. Perfect location and great for our 18 month old. The balcony and view were wonderful. The pool was awesome! Location couldn’t be beat to allow us to just walk everywhere and not rely on golf cart. We even had a trip to the local doctor (medisla) which was like a 2 min walk. The concierge and cleaning staff were all very friendly and helpful. We always felt safe and comfortable. Muchas gracias!!

A wonderful place. The guys who ran the front door were super friendly and welcoming. The property is clean and well kept. Our room was clean and updated. A peaceful view from the balcony.

Stayed Dec 4-11th n unit #302 and it was great, left to go to a condo in cancun which was not good, so not good we left cancun and came back to La Poza and stayed in unit #401. The building is very new, the units are very comfortable and modern. The building is safe and monitored, front desk and property managers are very friendly so is Julie the concierge even though we didn't use her we did ask questions which she answered quickly. There's a great (best priced) golf cart rental right across the street and I think we ate almost daily at Los Burritos taco place on the corner (30 peso tacos mmm).

Great spot! Great location next to coffee and juice shops. The staff was very friendly but not intrusive. I enjoyed my stay and will be back.

This is the second time that we have stayed at La Poza and it was amazing both times. We like to stay in different areas of El Centro and this is vastly becoming our go to place. The people at the front desk are extremely helpful and friendly. All the workers always have a smile on their faces and the rooms are absolutely stunning. We come every year for my birthday in August and will be staying there again.

This was our favorite place to stay on the island. Great location!

Everything was great! It was my boyfriend's first time, so I lectured him for you on respecting the use of the AC:) Concierge service was helpful! The front desk was awesome!

This place is obviously brand new as an AirBnB. The condo itself is perfectly located for walkability and the people are very nice. They were light on items in the condo, for example, there was no salt, pepper, or spray oil. They had pots and pans, but no lids. Also, the cooking tools were limited. The bed was a bit hard, but we adjusted fine. The AC worked great. It is near a school so you can hear the kids around 8:45 AM on weekdays, but they have no control over this and we were up anyway. They provided beach towels for us to use, which was awesome. I would definitely use this place again.

The location is within walking distance to the ferry, even with carry-on luggage. There was always someone onsite to ask a question. The pool was pleasant. I'd recommend.

Perfect location! Walking distance to all kinds of bars and restaurants and walking distance or a short golf cart ride to Playe Norte.

We felt very secure with the 24 hour front door man!

The manager Carlolina was very helpful and responsive when we had any needs or questions.
